Today, I took this picture as a reminder how change can take place so rapidly.  Part of the sky was bright and blue at the same time there were clouds seen above and on the ground was mountains of plenty of snow being blown by the wind. So dramatic yet real!

That just explains how each day is a new opportunity to be grateful and to do good. It can also be interpreted as a reminder that we should not worry about tomorrow, but instead focus on the present and know who is in control.  Just as you wake up and find that the snow that began a few days ago is still hanging on for a while and not going anywhere. Consequently, your normal day plans have been interrupted and there is nothing you can do about it but accept and know who orders the heavens.

Proverbs 27:1 reminds us to not boast about tomorrow, because we do not know what it will be like.  Our focus for each day should solely be on Creator God, the Designer.

Isaiah reminds us that “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.  In the same way the Word of God is sent out to produce fruit and to accomplish all the Lord wants it to and will prosper everywhere He sends it (Isaiah 55:10-11). Uncertainty becomes certainty when we trust in God
